about me

Hi, I'm Jennifer Rosiji. I’m currently pursuing a Master of Project Management at the UCD Michael Smurfit Business School and I’m the proud founder of JR Events Ireland, a dynamic event planning business with a focus on weddings. Over the past four years, we've had the pleasure of collaborating with more than 15 clients, helping transform their visions into memorable celebrations. As the lead planner, I ensure that every aspect of our events runs smoothly—from the first consultation to managing vendors and stakeholders on the day, guaranteeing that no detail is overlooked.

Our efforts have firmly established JR Events as a cornerstone of event planning within the African community in Ireland, skilfully handling everything from intimate gatherings of 50 guests to grand weddings of 500. My passion for creating enjoyable and stress-free wedding experiences drives our success, and my knack for leadership and project management consistently brings peace of mind to our clients.

I value ethics, effective time management, and nurturing strong stakeholder relationships, which has built significant trust within our industry and client base. Every day, I am motivated to advance the success we’ve achieved and I’m excited for future opportunities.

In my downtime, I lead the youth choir at my church, a role I embraced in late 2022 when the group had dwindled to just five members. With dedication, we have revitalised the choir, now boasting 15 active members, making us one of the most consistent groups in our congregation. It might sound like work, but it’s genuinely fun!

Beyond work and church, I relish time spent with my supportive husband and our wonderful sons. The great outdoors provides a perfect backdrop for reflection and rejuvenation.

My background also includes invaluable experiences in client-centric roles, from managing client expectations and vendor relationships as a wedding planner to delivering impactful client solutions.

As an alumna of Dominican College on Griffith Avenue, Limerick Institute of Technology (LIT), and Tallaght Institute of Technology, now part of Technological University Dublin, I am proud to bring a rich educational background rooted in ethics, environmental values, community engagement, and a spirit of innovation. My education instilled the importance of integrity, inclusivity, and practical problem-solving, emphasizing industry collaboration and a pragmatic approach to achieving results.

These experiences have shaped me into a project manager who is dedicated to leading projects that not only meet objectives but also uphold the highest ethical standards, building trust and delivering exceptional value to clients.
